A Noble Cause for Mellem
I want my players to immerse themselves fully into the world and lose themselves in the game, even though only for a short while each week. For that reason, I’m dead set against metagaming.
I absolutely do not believe in DM versus players game style at my table. My job is to make an adventure with challenges in the game to grab each player’s attention . If I do a good job of it, then I have just as much fun as the players.
My gaming table is also a social event of sorts. Before game begins, we share a meal and banter about various subjects. Once game begins, everyone switches into character and any socializing is done ingame through those characters.
